Sunday Morning Sacrifice

THANK YOU SUBSCRIBERS!

First of all. I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who subscribed via email for this contest! Even though it’s a small number to most bloggers, it’s a big deal to me, and I appreciate every one of you who took the time to subscribe and help me reach the goal in less than a week!

My blog’s official number is now 37. Watch for it. It’ll be popping up here and there!

There’s One Winner Today, But I Will Repay You All!

I was aiming for a total of over 37 readers to match my header’s claim (lol) and you guys came through for me like fire! I actually made it to 37 on the second day! I ended up at 40 in 6 days and for that, I am promising you that I will make it worth your while in the future with something hot and exclusive for all my subscribers!

Stay tuned for upcoming posts with details on that, as well as more info on where my blog is headed. I’m going to need your input!

AND THE WINNER OF THE $37 IS……

MARK SIERRA @ MEANDMYDRUM.COM

CONGRATULATIONS TO MARK AND THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE! STAY TUNED FOR MORE!

All email subscribers were assigned a number and drawn using Random.org. Mark’s address was number 11. I was hoping the winner was going to be #37, but I guess that would asking too much. lol

OH WAIT! Set Your Alarm For 7:37am PST!

That’s right! The next Sunday Morning Sacrifice will be time sensitive! Show up Sunday, September 14th, at 7:37am PST.

See what you get for subscribing to SuiteJ.com!? Mark’s life will never be the same! He Is THIRTY SEVEN DOLLARS RICHER!

Don’t let your next chance pass you by! Subscribe to the rss feed or via email so you can stay up to date on Sunday Morning Sacrifice, Flippin Fridays, and other good stuff!

Cheers!
Jay

@NB: Thank you sir. Would you wear a SuiteJ hockey jersey that had the number 37 on the back? Just wondering.

@Sly: Yes, there’s another Sacrifice on Sunday @ 7:37am PST. Be there..or..um..here…you know what I mean.

@Elijah: Great advice sir! Thirty Seven Dollars could be disasterous in the wrong hands. I hope Mark takes it sreiously and makes wise decisions with it.

    Cheers guys!
    Jay

Already I feel like a new man! Woo-hoo! Thanks, Jay! What a way to start off the week. :)

  6. Sly from SlyVisions dot Com Says:

“Would you wear a SuiteJ hockey jersey that had the number 37 on the back?”

If it did not have your big head on the front! :)

  9. Ryan McLean Says:

Still don’t know why you picked 37…but I would have entered via email but I hate my email clogging up. So screw that!
I subscribed via RSS and I still read your blog whenever you have a new post. Next time let people like me enter

  10. Jay Says:

    @Sly: Awesome! Don’t forget, it’s early! 7:37am!

@Normal Joe: lol. Thanks man. Now I need another subscriber goal. I’ll have to give away THIRTY SEVEN GAZILLION DOLLARS!

@Nota Bene: lol. no worries, my head wouldn’t fit on the front of a hockey jersey

@Ryan: I put “Over 37 Served” in my header design when I changed my theme. It was a self-deprecating joke at having a low number of visitors at the time. When I displayed my feedburner stats, it showed only 19, so I wanted to get over 37 to “match my header”. lol

As for not subscribing via email, no problem. I gave away cash in another contest where all you had to do was comment, and I’ll do some other random nonesense in the future. :)

The subscriber contest was only email so that I can verify the entrants, nothing at all against the “others” I love everyone more than $37 could ever possibly compete with. :)

Thanks for subscribing, I appreciate it :)

    Cheers guys!
    Jay

@Missy: Yeah, I heard Mark is quitting blogging now. He bought an island or something.

@Yan: LOL. sorry man. Maybe I’ll have to “sacrifice” a theme giveaway or two sometime ;)

    Cheers!

  14. Mark Sierra from somewhere tropical Says:

[crackle]Whew, [fzzt] sorry it took me so long to respond. We had trouble getting a satellite hookup to the [crackle] Internet on this remote island. Something about the natives not understanding English. What’s up with that?

I’m commenting straight from my [fzzzt-zzzt] hollowed-out volcano. It’s beautiful here! Boy, I’m [craaaaackle] glad I got to know Jay!

    LOL

  15. Jay Says:

@Mark: LOL. That was awesome. Love the fzzzzt-zzzt.

    Cheers man!
