First of all. I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who subscribed via email for this contest! Even though it’s a small number to most bloggers, it’s a big deal to me, and I appreciate every one of you who took the time to subscribe and help me reach the goal in less than a week!
My blog’s official number is now 37. Watch for it. It’ll be popping up here and there!

I was aiming for a total of over 37 readers to match my header’s claim (lol) and you guys came through for me like fire! I actually made it to 37 on the second day! I ended up at 40 in 6 days and for that, I am promising you that I will make it worth your while in the future with something hot and exclusive for all my subscribers!

Still don’t know why you picked 37…but I would have entered via email but I hate my email clogging up. So screw that!

@Ryan: I put “Over 37 Served” in my header design when I changed my theme. It was a self-deprecating joke at having a low number of visitors at the time. When I displayed my feedburner stats, it showed only 19, so I wanted to get over 37 to “match my header”. lol
As for not subscribing via email, no problem. I gave away cash in another contest where all you had to do was comment, and I’ll do some other random nonesense in the future.
The subscriber contest was only email so that I can verify the entrants, nothing at all against the “others” I love everyone more than $37 could ever possibly compete with.

[crackle]Whew, [fzzt] sorry it took me so long to respond. We had trouble getting a satellite hookup to the [crackle] Internet on this remote island. Something about the natives not understanding English. What’s up with that?
