Motivational Monday Morning: Possibly Another Weekly Post
Mon, Aug 25, 2008
Since I have officially put a stamp on the regular occurrence of a Sunday Morning Sacrifice, I’ve decided to wait until the following day to hand out a basket of link love. Tonight’s edition is being delivered close to midnight, but I’m thinking of making it a weekly ritual that will kick off the beginning of each week as a Motivational Monday Morning. I figured we could all benefit from a little positive reinforcement now and then, and what better time than the start of a new work week? So, although this one is coming to you in the evening, it’s better late than never, right?
Motivational Bloggers
Normal Joe
In case you haven’t heard of Normal Joe, you better head over there now and grab yourself a griddlecake while they’re hot! This guy is probably the funniest and most down to Earth internet marketer on the planet. It was extremely motivational to see Joe get a boost and break 100 subscribers just by being himself.
Neal (a.k.a. AP, a.k.a Nota-Bene)
Neal over at the The Affiliate Post is selling his site so I guess we’ll have to catch him elsewhere for now on instead. Hopefully he keeps comin’ with tips like how to get free unique content for your blog! Knowing that’s out there has got to get you excited!
Yan Shall Blog
If you feel like your site needs a jump-start, Yan’s got 20 ways to optimize your blog, and the solid blogging advice doesn’t stop there. Going through one of his lists and checking off the to-dos for your blog can have you pumped up again in no time!
Frugal Forest
Did you know it’s possible to start a blog and get free, mainstream radio exposure within approximately 2 months of the creating the first post? That’s what happened when Forest was interviewed on CBC radio for his new frugal living blog. Forest is a good example of hard work paying off.
Piss Biscuit?
First name Piss? Last name Biscuit? Don’t let that get you down! Stay motivated and forget about the name calling! Hop on your blogger’s soapbox and help bloggers realize how to set goals and figure out their bottom line!
Professor Prosperity
If you’re just feeling in a rut emotionally, spiritually, or even physically, head on over to the Professor’s for a pep talk. His blog is stuffed full of positivity to help you get your mood right. I mean, he discovered prosperity lessons that we can learn from Batman!
Missy
Missy! This girl has more blogging energy than a dozen rabbits on acid! Seriously, I follow this girl on Twitter, and every 6 seconds she has a new blog post that she writes herself for about 36 gazillion different blogs. She’s obviously not human, but she is a groovy vegetarian and a blogger from Chicago.
Motivational Money Making
I’ve seen a few examples this week that you might find motivating if you’re still trying to find your path and make your first lump sum of cash based on your online efforts. Even if you are making money, maybe you want to try your hand at something different.
Website Flipping
You know I talk about website flipping, right? It has a crazy buzz right now and I can attest to it not being hype. However, you won’t need convincing after you see this blog flipping maniac build 5 brand new sites and list them for sale within 24 hours! His goal on the sales was to reach $1k and last I checked, he was over $800 I believe. Not a bad payday.
SwatCash GPT (Get Paid To Click, Search, Fill Out Offers, Surveys, etc.)
Honestly, I’ve heard of these types of sites before, but I’ve never bothered to try any because it seemed like it’d be a time sink for minimal profits. However, SwatCash caught my eye with it’s killer army layout and games that you can play against other members (you can steal their SwatCash by attacking them! lol).
I joined out of curiousity and spent about 20 minutes there. In that time, I did 3 or 4 simple surveys, and my account was credited for over $15 (the payout threshold). I also saw two offers that could have made me another $25 easily within another 20-30 minutes if I didn’t mind joining a couple sites. So, if you have the time and like to do that kind of stuff,
check out SwatCash and tell me what you think.
It’s the first site like that I’ve ever joined, so I’m not sure how to compare but it seemed pretty legit to me. Also, if you’re in there and want to know which ones I did, hit me up and I’ll tell you. I’m in Canada though, so a couple of the offers might vary. I know one I did was specific to Canadians.
SuiteJ’s Stats
Next Monday, if I decide to continue the Motivational Monday Morning idea, I’ll post my stats as part of these posts and try and set some goals for boosting them and maybe some other things to do with my online endeavors as well. Right now, I want to boost my subscribers, so do me a favor and subscribe to the rss feed or via email!
Also, if you have any other ideas for this weekly post, let me know. I’m always open!

Yeah, I like Yan Shall Blog too. You better register it now that you’ve publicly said you like it. lol
I plan on Monday mornings. I’m spread thin already, but I’m enjoying myself. I should be ok though, as long a the caffeine doesn’t run out.
Cheers!

Thanks, Jay. I’ll reciprocate the same when the opportunity arises. Did I say I’m heavy on caffeine too? I couldn’t imagine what my day would be like when it isn’t in my system…it’s one of those things I couldn’t live without..
Talk to again, buddy..

Lol at the many names I have acquired!
I am in between blogs, houses and jobs right now so thanks for sticking with me. It was touch and go on the sitepoint auction after one bidder messed me around a little, but reserve has been passed and AP will be moving on. I assure you that not only will I keep reading, but I will be back shortly with some more greatness for you…..just when things settle back into routine again as I am stressing right now.
Hope the new guy appreciates your link love
P.S All bloggers mentioned this week are totally awesome. What a great crowd!
Cheers Jay

Wowzers! That was quite a post dude. Thank you for the extremely kind words, and the 3 links to 3 of my blogs.
Motivational Mondays! Hmmmm, i use to love MonDAyS, back when i was young and obnoxious. LOL. Now, i still do like them i just don’t shoot it through the rooftops like i once did.
I am thinking of starting up a series on goals, but maybe calling it something else, since the goals is soooo kinda like, “oh! i gotta do something”. “And there is a deadline.”
Which brings me to a question. Do quote marks go before or after the end period? (.” or “.)
I’m a (prolific crazy blogger) because i’m on a mission. To make money online, so i don’t ever have to leave my home. Well assuming that home is a beach front home. (of course)
It’s all good. And would be GREAT if can sell some properties, and cash out, i mean cash in. Oops!
Happy Tuesday!
Peace, Missy.

You can change it if you like.

Thanks a million
I have been working hard on my frugal blog but my design business is holding it back… sadly I have to concentrate on what pays the bills… but it is still a priority and it will grow into my greatest blog

Commas and periods should precede the closing quotation marks, whereas question marks, colons, semicolons and exclamation points do not - unless they are part of the quotation!
August 26th, 2008 at 3:42 pm
Totally forgot what I was going to say…. Thanks Missy
August 26th, 2008 at 5:24 pm
@Missy. Good to be on a mission. Watch what you wish for though. Lately, I rarely leave my home, and it actually kinda sucks. I feel like a caged animal sometimes. It’s just a short term situation while I work on some new stuff though. I don’t outsource enough because I’m anal about how things are done. That’s a good thing and a bad thing at the same time I guess. lol
Glad Nota Bene was able to answer your grammar issues. lol
@Forest: Paying the bills has to come first, but don’t neglect that awesome start! Instead, neglect sleep now and then like I do. lol
@Nota Bene: Nothing to say really, just wanted to acknowledge you! lol
Cheers guys!
