Free Caffeine And Website Flipping

Business, Personal

No sleep last night and way too much work to do! Most of you that are coming here know me on some level, and are even local (Vancouver), so I gotta plug my buddy’s new coffee shop in Langley. It’s called The Mocha Room on Fraser Hwy. Go there! He hooked me up with free Americanos this morning ’cause he could tell my eyes were burning and it was plain to see that I probably didn’t have the energy to pull my wallet out of my pants.

I really needed the boost because aside from trying to build a few projects at once, I’ve also entered that site flipping contest over at Site Flip University.  I rushed on the idea, and the niche was too broad for my liking, but it’s all I could do if I wanted to jump in on the deadline.  I thought I’d enter the contest with a site about Going Green since I’ve already been  looking into ideas on how I can be more enironmentally friendly lately (Yes, I drive a 2008 SUV, but I’ll make up for it by changing 47 other things!).

Here is my my competition in the contest (with a few possibly not listed that are late to get started — I’m not sure)

http://acthighbrow.com

http://traveltipsdigest.com

http://gogreenlifestyle.net/

http://reggae-artists.com

http://bloggerssearch.com

I’ve always been had a competitive spirit (except I can’t mix booze and Scrabble. I get out of hand!) and this has lit a fire under my ass to step up my game in the (building and) flipping department of internet marketing.

So, visit all the guys above, but if you only have time to visit one today, Go Green, cause we’re judged, in part, on traffic stats.

Question for you Jay…..I know you are busy making the world go green but why do you rarely reply to comments here?

Just a thought buddy! You are doing a fricken awesome job on your site btw so if that is your excuse then keep doing what you are doing :)

  3. Jay Says:

    @ Missy :

No problem on the mention. Hopefully one of my current 7 readers will click through to your site. ;)

Oh, and we’re officailly friends now (SU), thanks! I’ll be checking out “GV” thoroughly!

@ TheAP: Actually, besides the making the world go green, I’m also working on painting it blood red, and then there’s the one that spreads the white, gold, and green! (you’ll see!)

Besides that, I’m working on setting a few sites up for others, and plugging away at a few projects. It’s vague I know, but it has to be lol. There’s not enough room in this comment box.
Aside from all the “work”, I’m steadily reading and learning so I can rise to the top! ;)

Anyway, you’re right, I did miss a couple comments here. I actually have worked on tweaking this theme a bit and that’ll soon be done as well. When it is, I’ll be posting here on a more regular basis on what’s going on as well as dribbles of nothingness. This site is my Piss Biscuit. lol.

    Thanks for the comments!
    Cheers Jay

Your green site looks awesome and you are doing a great job.

I also just posted a post exclusively related to free coffee on FrugalZeitgeist.com so maybe you should head over and start getting them :).

Anyway look forward to seeing where things go for you.

    See you soon.

Ok Jay, I see how it’s going to be. You are determined to get me to sign up to your rss (which I have just done) by not posting. You think that by driving me insane for the last ten days by not posting will force me to give up and wait for an email? Well it worked ok!

I suggest that you take a break from your totally kick ass green site and give the likes of me a chance!!!

I am looking forward to hearing more on the other projects too.

    Cheers.

  7. Jay Says:

Yes, that’s my master plan! All these other bloggers are wasting their time with their daily posts and captivating content! My Blogger eBook will be entitled, “The 10-Day Hiatus Secret Unleashed”

You’ll be getting too much of me soon and wish you hadn’t left this comment.

    Thanks for subscribing. :)

Starting from square one and documenting the journey to success is nothing new on the web. Do a quick Google search for "make money online" and you'll be overwhelmed with a vast library of people following the supposed path to riches. Even though I've been making a full-time living online since the year 2000, I cannot offer you such a narrative. Why?...(read more)
